Join our data science team to unlock insights from complex datasets and build predictive models that drive business decisions. As a Data Scientist at Quml, you'll work on diverse projects spanning customer analytics, forecasting, optimization, and experimental design. You'll have the opportunity to work with large-scale datasets and translate analytical findings into actionable business strategies.

What you will do

  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for business growth
  • Build and validate predictive models for forecasting, classification, and optimization
  • Design and execute A/B tests to measure impact of product features
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Develop statistical models for customer segmentation and behavior analysis
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize data science solutions
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to generate hypotheses and guide research directions
  • Build automated reporting pipelines for key business metrics
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
  • 3-6 years of experience in data science or analytics roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python and data science libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau)
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and when to apply them
  • Proficiency in SQL for complex data queries and transformations
  • Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience with Jupyter notebooks and reproducible research practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hive, Presto)
  • Knowledge of causal inference and econometric methods
  • Familiarity with deep learning for structured data (TabNet, etc.)
  • Experience with time series forecasting and anomaly detection
  • Understanding of recommendation systems and ranking algorithms
  • Knowledge of Bayesian statistics and probabilistic programming
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Databricks)
  • Published research or contributions to data science community
